I'm currently working as a Marketing and Communications Intern at Ann Arbor Summer Festival, a nonprofit organization that puts on a three week long music festival in the heart of Downtown Ann Arbor. My position includes social media management, scheduling, administrative tasks as assigned, wordpress website management and updates, capturing events, sponsorship agreement fulfillment, and so much more! The Journey of Sonder is an independent study project I worked on throughout my senior year at Eastern Michigan University. Arts and Cultural Plan for the city of Charlotte, MI
In the Spring of 2018, I interned with a consultant for Charlotte Rising to create an Arts and Cultural plan for the city of Charlotte, MI. With direction from my supervisor, Kelsey Adams, I learned extensive interviewing skills, helped lead a community workshop, transcribed focus groups, conducted interviews, coded data, helped develop professional recommendations, and worked with my supervisor to put together a well designed presentation for the Charlotte Rising board and community leaders.
